SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary: Line Operator position within the Retail Department. Specialize in preparing and arranging materials and products in bulk and retail form for transfer to warehouse and distribution to customers.
Essential Functions: Make sure appropriate materials are available. Verify quality, productivity and make adjustments as needed. Responsible for basic maintenance, preventative maintenance and reporting any improvements needed. Cleanliness of machines and organization of the line. Adjust machines to program specs: case erectors, bag inserter, scale, bag uncuffer, print and apply, top sealer, metal detector and palletizer. Generate scale and Palletizer reports; perform other tasks related to packaging line.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
. High school diploma or equivalency.
· Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Good math skills.
· Experience operating equipment/machinery in a manufacturing environment.
· Training as needed.
· Good organization, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.
· Good mechanical ability/aptitude.
· Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules.
Shifts: Must be available 12 hour shifts.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to stand, kneel, bend and stretch over and under all equipment on a concrete floor for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb stairs and be comfortable at heights.
Must be able to freely move around the entire plant.
Exposure to excessive noise and heat.
Must be able to wear required PPE

Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
