In collaboration with the Production Manager and the team in place, you plan production, control of Inventory and coordinate the organization of work for all stages of production in accordance with the policies and procedures of the division. You make sure the use and of the optimum efficiency of the workforce. You will participate in organizational changes and the introduction of new products in a continuous improvement process.

ÂJob Description:

Plan and monitor my plan daily and make the corrections, if necessary, according to the delivery dates to the customer.

Act as a resource person to customer service in general, project management and manufacturing and assembly cells.

Manage the introduction of new products, transitions and system changes

Review the material requirements and ensure the availability of materials according to the inventory level objectives.

Analyze the new master plan requirements and make the necessary changes.

Work closely with engineering groups and project managers to meet deadlines.

Facilitate clear communication between the parties and ensure the follow-up

Participate in special projects for optimization and continuous improvement;

Develop and compile KPIs as well as contribute to process improvement

Creating assembly BOM (B.O.M.)

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or college diploma (DEC) in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or any other training judged relevant

3 to 5 years’ experience in a planning position in a syndicated manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge of MRP software, supplies and able to use home software

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word and Outlook);

Good knowledge of the different manufacturing processes (Machining, Assembly, Welding)

Ability to read technical drawings

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Good sense of communication with the members of the production team and the various services

Good team spirit, ability to work in an environment where activities take place at a fast pace

Bilingual, Spoken and written required, French and English

Ability to identify business needs on an ongoing basis and make adjustments required.

Knowledge of the principles of continuous improvement
