Tri-Angle Metal Fab is currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder that can be certified in Aluminum, Stainless steel and Steel metal groups. Tri-Angle is a leading manufacturer in Milton, VT that is Nadcap accredited for welding. We manufacture a variety of precision components for the defense, aerospace, and commercial industries.
Job Responsibilities:
⢠Fit up and TIG weld various Aluminum, Stainless and Steel components based on drawing specifications and job traveler instructions.
⢠Set up welding machines based on the job requirement.
⢠Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.
⢠This job is for 40 hours weekly with some OT available.
⢠Normal shift is Mon-Fri., 7:00 a.m. â 3:30 p.m.; but must have the flexibility to work Over Time if required.
Skills Required:
⢠Proficient in TIG welding, enough to be certified.
⢠High School or Trade School education
⢠Completion of Welding tech school or a minimum of two (2) years TIG welding experience.
⢠Must have some blueprint reading ability.
⢠Sheet metal fabrications skills are a plus.
⢠Experience using standard measuring equipment such as dial calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
⢠Must demonstrate the ability to follow procedures, maintain detailed and accurate records.
⢠Possess strong problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with others.
