Want to lead kids on a community farm growing food for Montpelier’s meals on wheels program? The Montpelier Parks & Trees Dept. is looking for a Camp Coordinator for our FEAST Farm program. We’re aiming to run camps all summer, giving kids a chance to grow local food, connect with seniors, and develop an authentic connection with the land. This position will give you the chance to design a farm-camp curriculum, learn about organic agriculture from our farm manager, and most importantly to provide a meaningful summer camp opportunity for local kids!
This position is a part of the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board AmeriCorps program.

Position begins May 31st, 2022 and ends August 19th, 2022.
This position requires 455 hours of service for an average of 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. Member will receive a living allowance of $5,400 (pre-tax), and an education award of $1,678.57 (pre-tax) upon successful completion of service.
