Crow's Path is a small non-profit committed to offering transformative experiences in nature to people of all ages. We've been connecting people in the Burlington area to the natural world since 2010. As much as our programs thrive out in the wilds of Burlington under a green canopy of singing vireos, providing transformative nature connection experiences relies on a sturdy organizational backbone. This position will take the helm to provide that structure. It will also require you to be self-motivated and work independently as you wear many hats. Much of your time will be spent covering administrative duties, but will also require you to oversee our budget, process payroll, develop and refine our current organizational systems (e.g. record keeping, registration, etc), and ensure our compliance with state and federal tax laws. Who You Are

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently

- Outgoing and good natured, with a sense of humor

- Comfortable spending time outside

- Flexible, adaptable, comfortable with emergence and improvisation

- Local to Burlington, with a desire to stay in the area and an interest in growing with Crows Path

Required Skills

- Attention to detail and problem solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Strong organizational and planning skills

- Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures, including the use of standard office equipment

- Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills

- Ability to prioritize work demands with minimal supervision

- Proficiency in Google Drive and ability to learn other software (e.g. WaveApps)

- Ability to carry out responsibilities in a timely and meticulous manner demonstrating initiative and creativity

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Preference given to applicants who have

- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role, especially in non-profit organizations

- Experience managing budgets

- Experience with fundraising, or a willingness to learn
