Help Habitat for Humanity build houses for low income families, right in your community, without ever lifting a hammer! Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity ReStore is looking for a strong, friendly individual for a driver/donation ambassador. The driver/donation ambassador helps by meeting with donors at their residence/business, seeing what items we can and can't take for donation, and then loading those items on the truck, bringing them back to the ReStore, unloading the truck and then helping out as needed in the store. Driver works Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm, with occasional overtime.
Requirements:
-Able to lift 50lbs comfortably by yourself, more than 50lbs with help
-Clean driving record & background check
-Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated
-Able to drive 20ft box trucks in all conditions
Tasks:
-Drive 20ft Isuzu box trucks
-Meet with donors and see what items we can/can't take
-Load/Unload trucks throughout the day
-Help out in store when needed
-Other duties as assigned
