Creative Landscaping and garden center is looking for seasonal help. We sell a large variety of trees and shrubs, perennials, annuals and vegetables and landscaping bulk materials.
Our season runs from April thru mid-Oct. We are looking for a team player with at least an intermediate level of plant knowledge, and is familiar with trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals. Organic production of veggies and herbs, fruits grown in northern New England. Master gardeners, students studying agriculture, retired plant enthusiasts, and those with an interest in landscape design encouraged to apply.
You will be responsible to maintain and merchandise the greenhouse goods, outside container plants and some hard goods. A good amount of seeding, potting and transplanting takes place in the spring which is also part of the job.
This candidate has excellent skills in customer service and communication, and should be familiar with POS systems. Must be self-motivated, enjoy working outdoors, have an interest in plants and nature, and be physically fit. Able to lift 40 lbs. Must be willing to work at least one weekend day and have reliable transportation. Pay is based upon experience.
