To perform routine and extensive maintenance to ensure facility is in the best possible condition. Assists in maintaining the physical plant, building and grounds with attention towards safety, security, asset protection and theft prevention. To support facilities staff with daily tasks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years experience in engineering, maintenance and equipment repair
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems. Knowledge of basic carpentry and plumbing
• Experience with security operations and surveillance/camera equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and fire codes
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation in a food service setting
• Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and email applications
• Must work well under pressure and comfortable with confrontational individuals
• Must be able to carry and lift up to 50-75 pounds
• Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for up to an 8-hour shift
• Must be able to shovel, mop and sweep for up to an 8-hour shift
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
• Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize facilities requests effectively
• Capable of working independently and with others in a cooperative environment
• Willingness to work varied hours and be on call to respond to afterhours emergencies and alarms
• Attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and efficient multi-tasker
• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
