Runamok Maple, located in Fairfax, VT, is a growing, diversified maple products company specializing in the production of premium barrel-aged, smoked and infused maple syrups. We are also the largest manufacturer of maple candy and cream products in the country. Runamok Maple is comprised of a dynamic team of sales, manufacturing, operations and administrative personnel who are changing the way people think about and use maple syrup. To accomplish our goal of being one of the most widely recognized brands in the maple industry, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated sales person to be part of our team. EOE
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Runamok Maple Sales Representative is responsible for a variety of tasks in the following areas:
Maintaining and building business with our existing customers
Prospecting and selling to independent retailers across the US
Handling candy and cream sales in New England, new and existing partners
Assisting with local private label placements
General lead generation
Assistance with local events
Develop new sales and support existing customers throughout Vermont at retail, hospitality, gift, resort, etc.
Manage all inbound sales inquiries
Perform product samplings as needed
This role is based out of our office in Fairfax, VT. Some work from home flexibility is possible. The candidate is expected to work independently to meet established goals and interact with management digitally, as well as in person. Runamok Maple relies heavily on an online messaging and collaboration system, an online file management system, and an online calendar; comfort with these types of systems is required. Some travel in New England is possible. Travel in Vermont common.

Sales experience
Exposure to the culinary world
Highly motivated
