Electronics manufacturer in Williston Vermont is seeking a personable, dependable, customer oriented delivery driver to deliver products to our customers in Canada. Deliveries are currently performed 1 per week, duration 5-8 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Load vehicle with inventory to be delivered.
- Drive vehicle to various customers in the Montreal, Canada, area.
- Unload parts at each destination and verify shipment with customer's receiving department.
- Complete all required paperwork on deliveries.
- Perform basic maintenance on the vehicle to ensure safe operating condition (Tire pressures, fluid levels, etc.)
- Maintain all required logs for vehicle use.
- Perform related truck driving or warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. This is an entry-level position; driving and delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
- Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
- Absolutely no Criminal Record (misdemeanor or felony). Must pass background check to verify Canada entry eligibility.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Relevant experience in driving a truck or van preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting; must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Must read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; use of basic math accurately.
