Web Assistant
Remarkable Things at Stowe Craft is seeking a part-time (2-3 days a week) web assistant to join our team with the possibility of growing into a full time position. As a small but mighty nationally known craft gallery, we offer the best American handmade jewelry, art, pottery, home goods, kaleidoscopes, clothing and so much more. Located in the historical downtown village of Stowe and right along the Little River, it doesnt get much better than this for a fun place to work! We offer a laid back work environment for those with a flair for the artistic and adventurous.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who will assist our E-Commerce Director with maintaining our website, blog, as well as processing inventory.
Essential Responsibilities & Necessary Skills
Ability to think both analytically and creatively on projects
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others on projects
Tech savvy with the eagerness to learn new point of sales & e-commerce platforms
Experience photographing still life products with a knack for optimizing images for the web (e-commerce &
social media)
Proficient Photoshop and photo editing skills
Enjoys writing and excels at delving into the details of product descriptions
SEO experience preferred
Assist in receiving inventory and general organization
Updating, adding and editing products to our website
Interest in collaborating on blog posts and some social media
Pay commensurate with experience. Occasional telecommuting considered.
