Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing plant in Chester, VT. We are looking for Maintenance Mechanic on 3rd Shift! This is a Direct Hire position.Hours: 11:00pm - 7:00amOvertime: AvailablePay Rate: Depends on Skills and Aptitude Job Overview: The Machine Operator, receives prepared product from cook/mixers and operates equipment that packs and labels the product.Job Details:Coordinate support/resources for production and non-production work activities.
Add performance input of direct reports inclusive of annual performance reviews.
Leads routine, periodic, and special inspections to determine repairs needed or corrective actions taken to prevent breakdowns, unsafe conditions or to comply with Company policy.
Perform production equipment change-over as dictated by schedule or requested by shift supervisor (as needed or directed to best meet departmental objectives).
Interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Help lead the effort of preparing documentation regarding Preventive Maintenance and Machine Operation through effective communication and collaboration with Production Supervisors, Managers.
Able to set up and operate all equipment needed to perform assigned tasks.
Maintain appropriate records, keeps inventory of spare parts and shop materials to effect proper repairs on all equipment.
Respond to alarms or trouble calls as required and maintains a strong floor presence.
Function as a key member of both the production & maintenance team and assists as necessary to accomplish production goals, and through-put initiatives.
