Software Architects (#797546) Job Description: Design software architecture and solutions to complex software problems. Perform high level design and document design specifications. Collaborate with software engineers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility. Communicate with users, clients and team members to understand specific requirements. Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes. Document high-level design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Evaluate current or emerging technologies. Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems or related and 5 years of progressively responsible software development/systems analysis experience, including at least 2 years with Mendix, AWS Technologies, Microsoft Azure PaaS Solutions, SharePoint, SharePoint C#, Teradata, MS SQL, Azure SQL, Java, C and 1 year with Python, Code Warrior. As equivalent, employer will accept a related Master’s degree and 2 years of software development with 2 years with Mendix, AWS Technologies, Microsoft Azure PaaS Solutions, SharePoint, SharePoint C#, Teradata, MS SQL, Azure SQL, Java, C and 1 year with Python, Code Warrior.
Work is at unanticipated project sites throughout the US, w/ infrequent relocations. No other travel is involved.
