Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage multiple OS images (12 to 14) (i.e., Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, and Server 2019) and sub-versions including some custom built for specific customers and user groups (i.e., 1709, 1803, and 1809).
  • Support Image Lab and understand lengthy application and hardware compatibility testing, vulnerability assessment testing, rigorous configuration management (release management), and approval process for Global Policy Objects (GPO) review, as well as Active Directly rule compatibility.
  • Continually improve the over-the-network SCCM deployment method focusing on improving security and reducing inefficiencies.
  • Application and hardware compatibility testing.
  • Infrastructure and new feature requirements testing.
  • Deployment method requirements.
  • Develop a base image for all OS types.
  • Operating system design.
  • Hardware model integration.
  • GPO settings.
  • Create and maintain custom task sequences and other custom code for front-end image management.
  • Validate images that meet the customers’ supplied requirements and internal quality guidelines.
  • Provide desktop management automation through scripting to deliver consistent and predictable services.
  • Ensure that the images load completely and without errors in all supported scenarios (e.g. Vendor staging, DMA, bare metal re-image, USB Flash Drive, USB Drive, Network, etc.).

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 2-5 years of experience.
  • Participating in new solution development.
  • Experience working in public and private clouds.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are required.
  • Must have the strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts.
