Day Shift OnlyThe Vermont Country Store is a 70-year-old family owned business who recently acquired the manufacturing operation for our Mountain Weave products. We are seeking a Fabric Operator who will focus on preparing tablecloths, napkins and placemats; cutting fabric from the large bolts along with supporting all other steps in the manufacturing process.
The Fabric Operator will operate rotary shears to cut woven fabric ranging in size from 18”x18” to 70” x 144” producing heirloom quality napkins, placemats and tablecloths. The qualified candidate must be able to lift and move rolls of fabric weighing upwards of 60 pounds,operate handheld electric rotary shears and an ability to cut along a straight line. Other activities include fringing, folding and operating manual scissors as well. Focus will be on working as part of a team to produce a quality product that represents The Vermont Country Store’s rich and authentic heritage.
