Support the analysis, research, design and development of materials and their related fabrication and application processes

Develop and optimize materials for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems and subsystems

Support Standard Work processes across all programs to deliver consistent results

Assist in the creation of “Product Family Mappings” for product materials

Work collaboratively with Engineering, Programs, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to achieve optimal design solutions.

Apply principles of chemistry, physics and material behavior to develop metallic, non-metallic and composite material and processing specifications, fabrication and assembly processes

Education / CertificationsPursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Materials, or other related Engineering fields from an accredited institutionExperience/QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Materials, or other related Engineering fields from an accredited institution

Must have GPA of 3.0

Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant coursework for Materials Engineering: Manufacturing Processes, Physical Metallurgy, Corrosion, etc.
