Responsibilities

The job of a Facilities Program Manager is to support the management and implementation of new process and Improvements. In ensuring the smooth operation of specialized client-managed facilities, the Facilities Program Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks/processes or improvements in the operations or construction of specialized facilities. This individual may analyze material and labor costs, set procedures and standards, and serve as a liaison between the client and Facilities Contractor personnel.
This individual will work in a small team of Facilities-oriented personnel to plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other fixed facility infrastructure. This individual will primarily work at the client office with some travel, depending on the nature of ongoing projects. This individual will work closely with a wide range of other people in their daily work such as operations managers, IT specialists, facilities engineers, and logistics specialists.

Qualifications

Candidate should have a high-level understanding of the routines, operating procedures, process flows, and concerning the development and operations of facilities.

Experience:
Monitoring the designing, procuring, testing and maintenance of equipment.
Reviewing and approving facilities maintenance standards and procedures for facility operations.
Planning and directing the installation of complex systems and associated facilities, particularly where there are problems of site selection and construction.

Reviewing and approving test plans and support testing of fixed facility infrastructure.
reviewing cost estimates generated by Facilities Contractor personnel for system recapitalization projects
identifying or establishing management control systems to manage non-recurring and recurring costs.
This individual should have a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and be very familiar with Project Management methodology
  • Budget management experience.
  • Ability to work with others on a team to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, maintain detailed and accurate records, and prepare clear and concise written reports.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings / specifications and generate design concepts using available tools.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Familiarity with regulations andbuilding codes.
  • Familiarity with Government Contract processes.

Education
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or
10 to 13 years with MS/MA or
7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

Salary Minimum: $103,604.80
Salary Maximum:$221,499.20
