Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking a Functional Program Analyst - Sustainment & Supply Chain Management, with DoD Program Office experience to assist our client at the Pentagon, DC/VA. A successful candidate will possess a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including good sense of design, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills; an ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels; and self-starter, goal-oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments. Required Experience: Minimum 4 years acquisition experience with an emphasis on participating in research and development or program management within specified technical or operational areas to include requirements definition, specification, detailed design, design review, documentation and testing, analyzing cost schedule variances, interpreting statutes, regulations and policy statements.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Functional Area: Sustainment:Assist the government in developing and updating Sustainment and Supply Chain processes and guidance for accountability across the DON enterprise(s).

Assist the government with strategic evaluation of Sustainment and Supply Chain-related issues. Support developing strategic plans for Sustainment Supply Chain improvement initiatives.

Assist the government in the coordination, collection, consolidation and analysis of information contained in various databases and information collected during data calls for Sustainment and Supply Chain.

Assist the government in the coordination, collection, consolidation and testing of Sustainment and Supply Chain data to problem solve, validate, account for requirements, and support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).

Assist with developing sustainment-training materials.

Assist the government and provide Sustainment and Supply Chain management support, hands-on or remote training, and job aids as required.

Assist the government with development and maintenance of a website to support the DON Sustainment and Supply Chain communities.

Standard tasks across all of ASN (RD&A):Provide executive-level assistance in program planning, scheduling, document development, edit and review, to include preparation of point and talking papers, executive summaries and executive correspondence for ASN (RD&A), Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC), SECNAV and Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).

Manage all SECNAV and OSD taskers, congressional reports, letters, SECNAV and OSD instructions, Commissioning and Christening packages, Acquisition Gate Reviews for ship platforms, waiver packages, acquisition plans and strategies and congressional correspondence.

Provide a daily update on legislative, policy and procedural matters.

Provide program management expertise in support of program execution.

Prepare documentation.

Provide input to the government for Acquisition Milestone review preparation.

Provide support for government Program Reviews and other program level meetings, to include preparing presentation pre-brief reviews, coordinating the meetings, and sending out invitations and taking meeting notes.

Conduct research for special studies and analyses.

Assist in strategic planning and development of strategic initiatives, business practices, and recommend acquisition and business process improvements.

Provide liaison functions with DON, DoD and other agencies and organizations.

Utilize DON correspondence and tracking systems (e.g. DON Tracker).

Prepare documents using either Congressional or DON executive and standard formats as indicated by the COR.

Coordinate, collect, consolidate and analyze information contained in various databases and information collected during data calls.

Success for working in this position requires:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of high school diploma, Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Familiarity with DoD, Department of the Navy, or other Federal Agency.

Mandatory Requirement : Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility for a government security clearance at the Secret level.
