Strategic Analysis is seeking technical support staff with capabilities to support the development and management of synthetic biology programs in BTO. The role involves working on a team supporting the execution of existing programs as well as the ideation and source selection for new efforts. Candidates will be required to work closely with the PM as well as other technical support staff having expertise in microbiology, immunology and biochemistry. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following with the breadth of expertise to assess technologies across a broad range of applications: (1) Monoclonal antibody discovery, production or engineering, (1) vaccinology or immunology for medical countermeasure development targeting infectious diseases, (3) Use of DNA/RNA constructs for medical countermeasures, (4) Manufacturing of monoclonal antibodies, DNA and/or RNA. Excellent organization and communication are required and candidates must be able to handle a wide variety of tasks, including briefing support. Education:Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology, with the breadth of expertise to assess technologies across a broad range of applications Required Experience and Skills:
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to broad audiences
Demonstrate a willingness to explore the scientific literature for emerging biotechnology
Excellent organization, communication and coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
Ability to work independently
Clearance:Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance within a reasonable period of time. Active DoD clearance preferred.Benefits
