Be ready to navigate the complex relationships that make the business world run and find the actionable insights that result in great business decisions.The QA Team is responsible for establishing quality for and delivery of extensive contractual documentation between multiple IBM teams and the client. You must be able to quickly learn standards in order to review documents and be proactive to work with the QA Lead if problems are detected that are not addressed by the established standards. You'll review and edit documentation (business process specifications, technical specifications, and general program documents). You'll also work with document owners to confirm QA edits to content are valid and acceptable before submission to the client. After establishing that documentation meets the established quality guidelines/style, assist with tracking/posting deliverables. Strong attention to detail is a must. As a QA resource you'll support quality audits (to include peer review collection, training, and weekly status posting in our program repository). You should also be comfortable training team members on processes, quality standards, and tool use when needed.
3+ years experience as technical writer.
Knowledge in existing documentation standards/guidelines/templates to apply across work efforts.
Ability to take complex requirements and concepts and reproduce in comprehensive written language.
Ability to review and develop documented technical and functional requirements via design documentation and follow strict government requirements while maintaining continuity of style and message of content.
Experience managing updates and revisions to technical documents as revisions are required.
Ability to create internal training documentation to train functional/technical resources on quality processes and tool use.
Ability to create presentations in established PowerPoint templates when required to support team initiatives or meetings.
Skilled with MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to include track changes and formatting.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Federal/DoD experience is preferred.
