Located in Arlington, VA an advanced technology startup company is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their growing team. The company offers a stock media subscription service that caters to video, audio, and images for creative customers. In this position you will be working on their signature platform using a variety of technologies including JavaScript, React, Node, and AWS. They are also looking for someone who has a strong understanding of at least one Object Oriented Language (PHP, Ruby, Java, JavaScript) and familiarity with a JavaScript framework (React or Angular). The company has a west coast type of working culture and offers a competitive salary with benefits.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience in JavaScript with modern frameworks (React, Angular)
• Previous Experience with a sever side programming language (PHP, Node, Ruby, Java)
• Experience deploying software in an AWS environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field)
• Previous experience in a Test Driven Environment

• 30% Architecture
• 20% Maintenance
