The End User Computing market is growing at an incredible pace with a rapid increase in adoption and growth. Within End User Computing, AWS AppStream provides a fully managed Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution that enables end users to access applications and desktops from anywhere on any device while data remains secure. We are looking to revolutionize the End User Computing space by launching multiple new initiatives this year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years professional development experience
  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and asynchronous architectures.
  • Programming in Java, C#, and/or Python
  • Linux/Windows systems development experience
  • Experience developing distributed systems or cloud native applications
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
  • Experience leading engineering best practices, improving code quality, and mentoring junior/peer engineers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
