The Hyatt Place in Blacksburg is looking for a few hard workers that take great pride in what they do.
Laundry worker inspects, washes, folds, and stores all laundered supplies for Rooms and Food and Beverage. Stocks housekeeping closets with clean linen. Performs after hours housekeeping duties such as changing beds and cleaning rooms as needed. Will assist the front desk by taking items to rooms as needed.
This position requires walking and standing for entire shift. Requires ability to perform duties which involve lifting, bending, stretching, and reaching. May be required to lift 35-50 lbs. Ability to follow schedule keeping in mind that the hotel is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Therefore, you may be required to work holidays, weekdays, weekends and different times during a 24 hour day. Ability to perform physical labor.
