University BP in Radford, VA is under new ownership and is hiring, we are looking for individuals with a high level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focus attitude. These individuals will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a multi-tasking environment while being flexible in responding to changing requirements. Positions Available
General Manager / Shop Foreman (Starting Salary range 50K 70K / year)
o ASE certification required Master Tech preferred
o Must have VA State Inspection License
o Must have a valid drivers license
o Knowledge of NAPA Tracs a plus
o Must be able to perform computer-based diagnostics
o Able to explain needed repairs to customers in an understandable and friendly manner.
o Must be flexible in regards to work schedule including every other weekend.
o Towing and recovery experience / knowledge a plus
Service Manager (Starting Salary range 40K 50K / year)
o Entering customer and vehicle information into computer
o Ordering necessary parts for repair from vendors and negotiating cost of items
o Assisting Shop Forman in keeping vehicles organized and in and out of shop as fast as possible
o Explaining needed repairs to customers in an understandable and friendly manner
o Collecting payment from the customers
o Watching the fuel/gas pumps (assisting elderly customers by pumping their gas)
o Keeping the customer lobby neat and organize (including mopping the floor and washing the windows, cleaning restrooms)
o Help keep the lot and fuel/gas island neat and clean
Automotive Technician Starting Salary range 30K 45K / year
o ASE certification preferred but not required
o Must have a VA State Inspection License
o Must have a valid drivers license
o The ability to perform computer-based diagnostics a plus
o Able to explain needed repairs to customers in an understandable and friendly manner
Wrecker Driver / Shop Helper (Starting Salary range $12 $15/ hour + Bonus)
o Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
o Must have a valid drivers license
o Must have a clean driving record
o Must be able to obtain a BTRO license (we will reimburse once obtained)
o TIM certified a plus (must be willing to go to next available class if not already certified)
o Must have the ability to be on call several nights a week and every other weekend
o Other duties include keeping the units and shop clean and assisting Auto Techs when not on a call.
