At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage the team’s product backlog, release planning, daily standup meetings, and release retrospectives

Guide and coach the Scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices to deliver high quality services

Maintain a Kanban board for an O&M sustainment team

Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings, decision-making process, and help resolve conflicts and issues

Monitor progress and performance and assist teams to make improvements

Maintain close working relationships with leadership, scrum teams, and other stakeholders

Lead working sessions to review and determine requirements, scope, and schedule constraints

Remove all obstacles to project team efficiency and effectiveness

Maintain relevant performance metrics that help the team see how they are doing

Develop and provide team metrics and reports

Manage product releases, deployments, and dependencies between teams

Assist PM with day-to-day activities

Basic Qualifications:Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in related field

Minimum/General Experience: 4-6 years of relevant Scrum Master experience

Must have hands-on Scrum Master experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Understanding the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management

Experience using JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/Scrum Practitioner with experience leading Scrum teams

Experience in IC System Engineering and O&M processes

Security Clearance Requirements:Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ a CI polygraph

Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
