At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an experienced ServiceNow Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues and provide exceptional customer service. In this role, a typical day will include:

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow development.
• Experience developing web-based applications.
• Experience with JavaScript or an equivalent language
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
• Share ServiceNOW best practices and consultative throughout the technical design.
• Utilizing ServiceNow expertise to create and implement workflows into application
• Leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complete projects independently and within a team environment.
• Familiar with creating and promoting update sets throughout SDLC
• Working with customers and other stakeholders to define clear and acceptable requirements for design documentation.
• Daily participation within an Agile/SCRUM team

Desired Skills

• Experience working with API-based data sources
• ServiceNow certification.
• Experience testing web-based applications - both manual and automated.
• Experience with functional, regression and load/performance testing.
• Experience with relational databases.
