We are seeking an experienced, DevSecOps and System Security Engineer to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team working on a cutting edge program in support of national security objectives.

A successful candidate in this position will demonstrate an aptitude for system thinking, creative problem solving, and attention to detail. You will apply your experience in hybrid cloud/on-premises security and compute architecture implementations. You will design and manage CI/CD workflows and conduct static and dynamic application security testing. As part of the team, you will be required to collaborate with others, as well as individually on strategies and recommended solutions. Demonstrated presentation and writing skills are required.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must have active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Requires a B.S. degree and 14 years of relevant experience, M.S. degree and additional experience preferred
• Requires CISSP and AWS certifications
• Must have experienced in hybrid cloud/on-premises security and compute architecture implementations
• Must have experience in designing and managing CI/CD workflows; experience using Gitlab desired
• Must have experience with static and dynamic applications security testing
• Must have experience with design, implementation, and management of open source infrastructure and security management tools
• Must have experience with Information System Security Engineering deploying highly sensitive workloads in C2S
• Must have experience with Risk Management Framework and ICD 503 implementation
• Must have Expertise in implementing and managing Kubernetes
• Subject matter expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, KMS, Cloud Formation, and IAM
• Must have understanding and experience with terrestrial communication networks and protocols preferred
• Must have experience supporting acquisition activities, programmatic, and program executions preferred
• Must be highly effective collaborator that thrives working with teams to solve complicated challenges
• Must be self-driven, able to take ownership of tasks and champion efforts to drive solutions
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, effectively and efficiently
• Must have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills.
