I am a local consultant who provides financial expertise to local businesses. Some of these clients need a sharp and diligent professional to manage their books.
If you are someone who truly enjoys working with numbers and data, I'm seeking a new mentee. If you have a strong attention to detail and would prefer more control over your schedule, please consider this opportunity.
I'll provide training, guidance and practical financial accounting knowledge. This is a great opportunity for someone to learn about management reporting and related financial analysis. Aptitude and ability will be considered as much as experience; formal accounting/financial education is not required.
Ideal candidates should have:
A love of numbers and data
An entrepreneurial spirit and natural business sense
A strong attention to detail
A desire to learn
A highly disciplined personality
A four year degree (preferred, not required)
Proficiency with spreadsheets and/or SQL (bonus)
This is not immediate work, but after 6-8 weeks of training could result in paid gigs. Expect to meet with me once per week for about an hour. An additional few hours per week of practice time will ensure success.
