We are currently seeking a Housekeeper, below is a brief description of the functions of the position. If you are interested in a complete job description, you will be forwarded below:
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks as assigned; clean, wash, polish, sanitize, deodorize and disinfect all areas and items in the facility. Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner. Promptly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Director of Resident Care and/or the Administrator
Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect.
Ensure that equipment, work and supply carts are properly cleaned and stored; ensure that an adequate level of housekeeping supplies is maintained at all times.
Follow departmental policies and procedures, the Infection Control Plan, Universal Precautions, established safety rules, and fire and disaster procedures.
