COMMON HOUSE SEEKS HOST + CONCIERGE
Common House is a member-based social club for the community of creative people in art and commerce in Charlottesville, Virginia. ÂOur members are artists, scientists, craftsmen, educators and entrepreneurs who share the belief that we can create an even more productive, progressive hometown by bringing the diverse group of likemindedÂpeople already making a difference together in one common, creative place.
CLUB HOST + CONCIERGE
We are seeking a hardworking, eager and progressive individual to join our team! The environment will be positive, educational and focused. The ideal candidate is someone who fully embraces hospitality, and is driven by success. With a comfortable atmosphere in a beautiful building, you will work with a team capable of setting the bar for service Charlottesville. Shifts are 7am (or 9am) to 3pm and 3pm 10pm-ish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Welcome members and guests from the front desk
-Printing menus and event signs
-Answering the door, phone, and concierge email
-Coat check
SKILLS
-Humility and ability to assess your own performance.
-A warm and outgoing personality, ability to smile.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
COMPENSATION
Hourly (commensurate with experience)
