Bluegrass Creamery's motto is "Ice Cream for Everyone." We serve Charlottesville with amazing grassfed dairy ice cream and organic vegan ice cream, and help make local and sustainable foods accessible to everyone. Weâve won best food truck in Charlottesville and had several articles written about us. Weâre presently hiring for season two.
**Responsibilities**
- Run the Bluegrass Creamery stand and sling ice cream 15-20 hours a week (with opportunity for full time hours)
- Delight our customers
- Open and close, following checklists
- Help improve our operations and systems
- Seek out and support growth opportunities for the business
**Qualifications**
- Customer service experience
- Comfortability working quickly under pressure with a smile
- Care about safe food handling
- A deep love of ice cream
- A valid driverâs license and a car are a must. Experience driving large vehicles a plus
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Passion for and/or experience with sustainable foods a plus
