Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery is looking for a professional and enthusiastic candidate to join our housekeeping department. The position is full-time that may require flexible availability including weekends and holidays and reports directly to the Estate Manager but interacts with other department managers. The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The housekeeper position will come in daily contact with guests and as such will need to have positive guest interactions. Our housekeepers play a vital role in the overall guest experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting
Reviews daily inventory of rooms, arrivals and departures
Reviews daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day
Clean and maintain guest rooms while keeping to the highest standards set by the Hotel Management
Clean and maintain hotel common areas while keeping to the highest standards set by the Hotel Management
Housekeeping and customer service experience required
Turndown & hotel laundry experience required
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational skills required
Must be fluent in verbal and written English
Must have attention to detail
Be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be comfortable on a ladder, dusting overhead, reaching, and twisting
