Our Tasting Room is open 10am to 4pm Wednesday through Sunday and is closed on Tuesdays. Weekend and some holiday hours are required but we are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve through New Years Day.
The ideal candidate will have one to two years cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment but we are willing to train the right person who has a positive, professional attitude and the passion to learn about food, wine, and service.
Your duties and responsibilities would include:
Prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to our recipes and specifications
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Preparing food for service
Cooking menu items in cooperation with other kitchen staff
Cleaning up stations and taking care of leftover food
Ordering, receiving, and stocking inventory appropriately
Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Performing all kitchen opening and closing duties
Other cleaning tasks in the kitchen and Tasting Room as assigned
Other duties as assigned by Tasting Room management
We require that you be able to:
Work efficiently, accurately and quickly in a fast paced environment
Work on your feet for 8+ hours a day
Work weekends and holidays
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Handle pressure gracefully
Be motivated with a can do attitude
Take direction and also work independently
