We are searching for an energetic and dedicated employee willing to work full-time running a fun, fast-paced restaurant! Must be able to maintain and achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, and follow all rules and regulations while meeting/exceeding goals.
Responsibilities:
Managing the daily operations of the restaurant/bar
Managing the "floor" during restaurant hours - talking to customers, helping maintain a smooth pace and positive environment
Bartending multiple nights per week
Creating advertisements, helping to maintain social media, planning events
Placing orders and maintaining updated cost analyses, as well as maintaining a bi-monthly inventory of certain items
Creating an organized, yet fun atmosphere to work in
Be able to set an example for our staff and establish oneself as a leader
Being able to maintain a high level of excitement - we find ourselves busy during UVA game days and being able to keep a crowd's spirits high is always a plus. Having an outgoing personality and being a strong team player always helps!
Requirements:
2+ year of restaurant experience required, bartending experience preferred.
High school diploma required, post-high school education preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have a passion for business and compassion for people.
Must be able to accurately handle money, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
Must be able to learn our point of sales system and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Possess high level of leadership and communication skills
Must work forty to fifty hours per week.
Have the ability to stand and walk around supervising operations for at least 8-10 hours
