Stinson Vineyards, a small family-owned vineyard and winery located near Charlottesville, is looking for weekend Tasting Room staff to start immediately. Wine knowledge is preferred, but training is available for those who are passionate about Virginia wine!
Job Duties:
- Greet customers and create a welcoming environment in the tasting room.
- Educate customers about our wines and promote wine club.
- Perform day-to-day operations of the tasting room including: stocking wines, washing glasses, and maintaining cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Handle routine purchasing transactions through point of sale (OrderPort iPad) accurately.
- Assist in organizing events, including set up and break down on event days.
Requirements:
- Mac proficient.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly and stand for up to 7 hours.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Availability to work at least 3 Saturday and/or Sundays per month.
