Position Summary
The Production Assistant is an entry level position at our distillery. We are looking for a qualified candidate who has a high level of attention to detail, is organized, places a high value on cleanliness, and most of all - enjoys making high quality canned cocktails.
Essential Functions & Duties
Assists Production Manager in cocktail manufacture and packaging
Understands and executes good CIP/SIP Practices.
Able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform daily clean up and maintenance of the equipment and the distillery.
Prioritizes personal and food safety in the workplace
Keeps production running smoothly and communicates with management.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
HS Diploma or Equivalent
1-2+ Years of Experience Working in a Production or Packaging Facility
Quick Learner with Good Problem Solving Abilities
Strong Communication Skills
Self-Starter, Motivated and High Attention to Detail
Mechanical Aptitude for Equipment Repairs and Troubleshooting
Ideally a candidate for this position would initially be able to work part-time then move into a full-time position as volumes increase into the spring and summer.
Salary would be based on experience, but would begin at $20 an hour for part-time and move into a full-time salaried position.
