Job Description:
-The gardener will assist the fine gardening department through property landscape maintenance and small-scale plant installations.
-During employment, the gardener will gain valuable skills and experience in the plant industry while working in a team environment.
Job Skills:
-Understanding of common landscape plant material including: annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs
-Ability to work well with others in a team environment
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to load and unload trucks and lift 50lbs
-Willingness to drive a stake-body truck
Responsibilities:
-Install quality, small-scale gardens in a timely manner for high-end customers
-Assist the fine gardening team with planting, watering, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and any other basic horticultural tasks
-Operate and utilize basic landscape tools such as blowers, pruners, spades, and hoses.
-Drive pick-up and stake-body trucks for deliveries and jobs
Job Requirements:
-1+ years of experience in the plant industry preferred but not required
-Education/Bachelors degree in horticulture or related field is preferred but not required

Compensation:
$13 - $16 / Hour + Overtime Opportunities
