Savvy Rest, an employee-owned manufacturer of organic mattresses, is seeking an assistant marketing manager with exceptional analytical skills and graphic design knowledge.
Savvy Rest is the leading manufacturer of organic mattresses on the east coast. With its nationwide network of over 100 distributors and a rapidly growing online sales channel, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical, analytical, marketing, and graphical skills to creatively express herself or himself in a supportive environment.
Key activities include:
Guiding day-to-day marketing activities: including working with our writer and social media manager, managing promotional sales on the website, analyzing marketing and sales reports, and communicating results and insights from analyses intelligently and clearly.
Managing company marketing budget with input from CEO and others.
Staying up to date with current marketing trends, software, and the mattress industry.
Collaborating with our outside SEO expert to make sure Google AdWords and other campaigns are operating as efficiently as possible.
Communicating directly with our web developers to ensure web projects are on schedule and any technical issues are being dealt with as prioritized.
Contributing marketing ideas and insights at weekly marketing team meetings.
Creating digital artwork as needed for our main website (savvyrest.com), advertisements, blogs, customer emails, and more.
Report to CEO.
Qualifications:
Minimum two years marketing experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Collaborative mindset.
Firm understanding of SEO.
Other helpful skills: Coding, programming, and/or web development knowledge, Drupal knowledge, photography and videography skills.
Ideal candidate has excellent grasp of Adobe Photoshop or similar program.
College degree required.
College degree in marketing and/or graphic design preferred.
The successful candidate will create mutual trust and respect with our current professional marketing team.
