Local skilled trade company is looking to fill a Administrative Assistant position. The candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical, and administrative support in order to ensure that the office operates in an effective and efficient manner. The admin assistant is also responsible for scheduling service calls appropriately in order to meet our appointment times.. This is a full time, hourly position. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance for you and your family on the 1st of the following month that you are hired. Paid vacation, personal days, uniforms. We also offer a generous 401k that you are eligible for after the first year.

Receptionist Duties

• Greet and direct customers, vendors, and visitors to the appropriate staff member

• Answer all incoming calls and handle caller's inquiries when possible

• Schedule service appointments with customers and add them to the schedule, call customers when we are on the way to their service appointment

• Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required

Office Support Duties

• Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Office

• Provide computing and copying support

• Maintain the company blog and social media pages

• Ensure office spaces are kept clean and orderly

Other Duties

• Assist managerial staff as requested

• Maintains confidentiality of Company and employee information.

• Perform other related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have/be:

• Office administration experience

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Computing skills, MS Office programs, Quickbooks

• Organized/Attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task

• Customer service experience

This position requires someone with the ability to retain information that is constantly changing. The role requires the person to switch gears from down time to multiple things happening at once. The CSR must maintain a pleasant disposition to each client at all times. Attention to detail, ability to prioritize information, and strong memorization skills are imperative.
