Rooterman has an open Dispatcher position. This is a vital role in the day to day operations of the company and will require a candidate who is able to handle multiple situations at once all while remaining positive and professional with customers and coworkers. This can be a fast paced position that will require candidate to have strong problem solving skills and general common sense. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Must have the ability to weigh different factors for each scenario to ensure the company is operating in a way that is cost effective and keeps the office running smooth. Duties will include dispatching and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Liaison between our field technicians and customers.
Distribute jobs to field technicians.
Manage the workload of field technicians throughout the day, week, and month.
Answer inbound calls and schedule appointments.
Interact with customers to keep them informed of the status of their assigned field technician's arrival.
Relay necessary job information to the field technician.
Track technicians via GPS and online work order program.
Know where each tech or piece of equipment is at all times.
Answer questions the Operations or Office manager may have regarding customer information, completed invoices, or work listed as performed.
Assist the Office Manager with administrative and clerical tasks when able
Keep the office tidy and clean.
Requirements include:
Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail and thrives in a bustling environment
Able to multi task
Excellent customer service skills
Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Quickbooks experience is a plus and those candidates who have the other applicable skills plus this will be highly considered.
A great attitude. Calm under pressure and able to take direction and follow through as well as work with little direction.
