SUMMARY:
Central Virginia event production company looking for experienced person to serve as the Audio/Visual Director for a large Conference Hotel in the Staunton Virginia area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct communication with hotel sales/service staff.
Account billing.
Direct sales with clients.
Event budgeting.
Client tracking.
Equipment care, setup, removal, operation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be detail oriented, punctual and reliable.
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
Must be able to climb ladders to a height of 12'.
Applicant should have a BA degree or equivalent experience in the audio/visual event industry.
Person applying should be communicative, friendly and understanding of irregular work hours. (45-50 hours per week) Evenings and weekend work at times.
Applicant must have own transportation to and from location, valid VA driver's license and clean driving record.
Applicant will be responsible for meeting with clients to determine specific needs, upselling, consulting and operation of equipment during events.
Previous sales experience huge plus!
Person applying should be a self-starter, motivated and have a strong work ethic. This is a salaried position and yearly pay is negotiable based on experience. Health benefits including dental are provided along with a company retirement package. On-site office with appropriate equipment and support also provided.
Employee will receive an annual review and salary increase based on performance. Looking for no less than a one (1) year commitment.
