Looking for a full-time, experienced farmer in Goochland and Louisa.
Overview:
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, planting and harvesting equipment. (This includes knowledge of usage of 3 point hitch, PTO and sprayers).
- Operate and perform maintenance on farm equipment and exhibit mechanical skills.
- Will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing farm equipment.
- Be able to drive tractor-trailer, CDL not necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all service & repair work.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years farm experience for grain
- Working knowledge of operating and repairing farm equipment
- Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- Drivers license and own vehicle
