Lead Carpenter / Site Supervisor needed for a growing construction company. We do residential and light commercial work with an emphasis on fine craftsmanship and green building. Our projects range from additions and remodels to large, high end homes with lots of stone and stucco and heavy timber framing. We are seeking a conscientious, well organized person who can frame and finish and also understands all phases of the building process. Candidate needs to know about ordering materials, scheduling subs, and keeping track of change orders. Candidate must be responsible and diligent in getting work done on time, on budget, and with appropriate documentation. The successful candidate will have experience running construction projects, working with subs and suppliers, and successfully working with crews and clients. Since our work frequently involves building one of a kind structures with unconventional materials, our process occasionally requires some out of the box thinking.
