Position Summary
Lacy is searching for an experienced, motivated Plumbing Foreman to join our well-established, growing company. The Plumbing Foreman supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of plumbing components, subsystems and systems during the construction, finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities. Essential Functions:
Makes essential project decisions and recognizes limits, including planning, coordination, troubleshooting, and escalation of issues to superintendent/project management
Identifies and responds to project needs, demonstrating a flexibility to drive production while keeping up with administrative tasks, project layout, and planning
Designs a plan of operation on a piping system start to finish, including sequencing of tasks to finish system
Installs all of the system connection points in the field to accept prefabricated assemblies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency
5 years of experience as a Plumber, with 2 years of Plumbing management experience preferred.
Valid Drivers License
OSHA 30 Certification
Practices responsible behavior no alcohol, drugs, or firearms allowed on any Lacy project
Understanding of construction workplaces and safety practices (signage, etc.)
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of plumbing and gas codes and practices
Demonstrates an understanding of general construction and coordinated/related trades
Demonstrates the ability to foresee and prevent trade-related issues, along with their successful resolution
