We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. He or she must be able to identify and communicate improvement opportunities and results. The detailed scheduler will also function as the liaison to Planning, Maintenance and Finance as needed.Responsibilities:Line Performance: Monitors forecast and delivers Production Schedule
Creates and Integrated schedule for the shop floor that includes all activities that may impact facility capacity and or the capacity of support organizations
Identifies opportunities to optimize throughput and reduce process cycle times
Facilitates focus on continuous improvement activities
Coordinates resources to implement suggestions/ideas of merit
Support our Company Production System metrics, designing standards and performance utilizing downtime tracking and available lean tools
Coordinates preventive maintenance and plant shutdown activities
Participates in Event Management and Renewal
Information Transfer
Facilitates departmental and team meetings focused on planning, scheduling and continuous improvement
Coordinates scheduling discussion with team
Reports plan versus actuals
Compliance:
Participates in safety initiatives
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Scientific discipline OR a high school diploma/equivalent and a minimum five (5) years of manufacturing supervisory experience
Required Experience and Skills:
Must be flexible, resilient and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a fast-paced production environment
SAP experience
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
