DevOps Architect
Position Description
CGI is looking for a DevOps Architect to support the Credit development and support teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, Agile team environment using SAFe framework. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of sophisticated enterprise technology infrastructures. The DevOps Architect will apply functional knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation of systems while enhancing our platform's reliability, availability, scale, and performance.
This career opportunity is open to all locations across the U.S., but the member must be available to work during east coast work hours.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $130,000 - $195,000

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a DevOps Architect, you will work within a highly diverse and collaborative team to lead the design, development and evolution of daily operational processes and tools to support scalable and resilient software delivery. You will lead the evolution of our CI/CD infrastructure & processes while ensuring daily orchestration services and lifecycle automation are highly available. The role requires understanding of industry-standard best practices and regulations while working in close coordination with support, development, and implementation teams. It also requires effective leadership skills and the ability to communicate with upper management as well as other architects within the group.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
• Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT/Telecommunications Engineering degree with 10+ years DevOps experience.
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications by accessing tools such as Concourse, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying containers utilizing the following tools: Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (or other OCI compliant container technologies)
• Ability to build, design and maintain cloud-based automation/pipelines within public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience coordinating and deploying DevOps solutions in coordination with support, development, and implementation teams.
• Extensive experience in operating scripting language like Bash/Shell, Pearl, Ruby, etc.
• Proficient using build and configuration management tools like Gradle, Puppet, SaltStack, Ansible, etc.
• DevOps engineer must have effective leadership and cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• Expertise in operating in administrative capacities on Linux environments
• Highly agile with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and change
