Our Critical Infrastructure Protection group is a growing practice within Data Systems Analysts (DSA). We have had a breakthrough year and have forecasted more significant growth in 2021. We are seeking a results-oriented Engineer who demonstrates excellent problem solving and communication skills to work on our team. As an Energy Engineer at Data Systems Analysts, you will be part of a growing business offering that is at the nexus of energy management, advanced analytics, and cyber security. As part of your work, you will play an active role translating customer requirements into functional and technical designs. You will take part in the design and implementation of energy efficiency and resiliency projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft PI System. No previous knowledge of the PI System is required but you must be willing to learn this new software. DSA's CIP team delivers value by integrating various systems onto a common operating platform and deploying advanced analytics to uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and/or resilience in support of a customer mission. Applications include HVAC Fault Detection, Chilled Water System Optimization, Utility Forecasting, Electrical Grid Anomaly Detection, and other advanced analytics designed to enhance Facilities Operations.
Within the CIP team, you will regularly interface with building automation systems (Client), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems. You will also use analytics packages (Python, R, etc.,.) to design and deploy algorithms that identify improvement opportunities and non-standard asset and system operation. Our group supports various industries including universities, government agencies, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing facilities. As a system integration team, we are tasked with delivering value to the overall mission of our customer's organization. We are looking for a motivated U.S. citizen who is versatile and employable on both a functional and a technical level. Comprehensive PI System training will be provided to the selected candidate and the most important qualification is a mechanical (or electrical) engineering bachelor's degree. The individual will support the development and implementation ofnew integration projectsas well as supportingour systems. It is importantthat the candidatehas great interest in systems integration,becustomer-orientated,have a hands-on mentality, and is eager to learn.Minimum Qualifications
