Overview:Job Title: Systems ArchitectJob Location: Fairfax, VA (Waples Mill)Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibilityDue to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.Job Responsibilities:Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Systems Architect to join our team in Fairfax, VA.Daily Responsibilities to include:

Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives

Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy

Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially with enabler Epics Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context

Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements

Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities

Understand broad client requirements and translate them into documented engineering requirements.

Execute high client initiatives and guide deployment of innovative solutions using the latest technologies to support the war-fighter

Develop new strategic initiatives and customer relationships while continuing to enhance preexisting initiatives and relationships

Consolidate, project, and grow pre-existing efforts

Proactively arrange technology engagements with clients and align trace technology solutions to integrate

Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver documentation deliverables of solutions lifecycle such as design, process, policy, techniques, tactics, and procedures in a timely manner.

Interface with potential and pre-existing customers, systems architects and engineers from several disciplines to help drive customer deliverables and systems design.

Interact cross functionally on solutioning & lifecycle sustainment issues that require coordination across organization lines.

Travel to customer sites for site assessments in preparation of installation and gather customer feedback. This will require autonomy with the clients’ network and enterprise services to analyze and evaluate the components and postures of the existing networks.

Identify risks affecting sustainability and performance of enterprise systems, ensure these risks are tracked and managed.

Coordinate technology integration within new or existing program portfolio to ensure Trace products and services meet minimum standards and requirements.

Organize and lead teams as needed to achieve project goals.

Improve team efficiency through improving internal training and documentation, identifying knowledge gaps and resolving them.

Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires a minimum of (15) fifteen years of direct experience in the last 20 yearsrelated to IT field

Extensive experience with DoD/Military/Agency networks

Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required

ITIL

Education:

Advanced Degree in business, management information systems or related field preferred, experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
