Must be willing to eventually go on site in Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA.
To provide operational support to the business unit. Entry-level accounting experience desired. We are looking for an individual that has experience with general ledger accounts and reconciling income and expenses, balance and reconcile financial transactions posted to the organizations' systems and subsystems. This resource will act as a subject matter expert involving proprietary systems, processes, and procedures to resolve complex exceptions and issues related to rejected items to ensure the accuracy of general ledgers and member accounts and provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
•Balance and reconcile the core processing system transactions and totals to ensure general ledger and member account accuracy
•Review, research, and evaluate unposted receipts, share/checking withdrawals, transfers, adjustments, and loans
•Identify and initiate adjustment; resolve posting errors and discrepancies related to out of balance conditions
•Conduct initial research of inquiries and discrepancies using applicable tools, determine resolution, communicate to appropriate internal/external contacts
•Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies/processing problems to include documentation and time-sensitive issues
