Responsibilities

As part of the HART Systems Engineering (SE) team, the Systems Engineer will assist with architecture refinement and work closely with the development and test teams in the creation of epics, user stories and test plans and procedures to ensure end to end traceability. In addition, they will support updates of the System Architecture Design program deliverable throughout the HART development cycles, and support the development and enhancement of an architectural model based on DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) using SYSml tools such as MagicDraw.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Support updates of program deliverables including System Architecture, Design, and Requirements documents
  • Support the development and enhancement of an architectural model based on DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) using SYSml tools such as MagicDraw.
  • Support the Performance Engineering effort to develop and execute system performance tests and provide analysis of results.
  • Assist the software development and test teams to ensure that system requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly understood.

This position can be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level, as described in the Qualifications section below.

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related STEM discipline from an accredited college or universityand a minimum of

    5 years of related experience, a Masters Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a PhD with no experience required.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering methodologies to include requirements analysis and decomposition.
  • Ability to obtain a DHS EOD Security Clearance.

Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of

    9 years of related experience, a Masters Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering methodologies to include requirements analysis and decomposition
  • Ability to obtain a DHS EOD Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in Agile development methodologies.
  • Biometrics experience.
  • Experience with JMeter.
  • Knowledge of cloud service architectures.
  • Familiarity with DoDAF and SYSml tools.
  • Experience assessing and analyzing system performance against requirements.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $67,017.60
Colorado Salary Maximum:$143,291.20
